About the North Gratiot Cruise & Car Show

The North Gratiot Cruise Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer group that hosts the annual North Gratiot Cruise and Car Show along Gratiot Avenue in Northern Macomb County. The North Gratiot Cruise is a one-day celebration of automobile history that attracts muscle cars, street rods, customs, collector cars, special interest vehicles and the people that love them. You can expect to find your dream car, live music, great food vendors, parties and family fun. This is our day to showcase our local businesses and have a great day.

When is the North Gratiot Cruise?

The Annual North Gratiot Cruise and Car Show takes place annually on the last Saturday in September. The Car Show begins at 10am and the parade of cars runs from noon to 6pm.

Where is the North Gratiot Cruise held?

The North Gratiot Cruise takes place on Gratiot Avenue from M-59 to 23 Mile Rd .

Why is the North Gratiot Dream Cruise held?

Family Fun and Community Enrichment! The benefits of local car cruises include positive publicity, company solidarity and a positive social and economic impact. These events have the potential to bring new people, new business and an overall sense of excitement to the cities and the townships that support them.

How do we do it?

We are able to host this great community event through the volunteer efforts of the North Gratiot Cruise Foundation, local government, public safety and local sponsors who help to fund the event.

What happens with any proceeds from the North Gratiot Cruise?

The North Gratiot Cruise is a community event designed to strengthen the communities surrounding the event. Any remaining proceeds become donations to local charities chosen by the leadership of the foundation.

Which Charity Groups have benefited in the past from the North Gratiot Cruise?

The Cruise has donated to multiple local charities including; Boy Scouts of America Group 149; New Baltimore Lions; Selfridge North Macomb Lions Club; Friends of Chesterfield Police; Chesterfield Historical Society; the Chesterfield Police Dept. and more to come!
